Høje Taastrup Fjernvarme a.m.b.a.
Høje Taastrup Fjernvarme a.m.b.a. is part of the comprehensive CHP system covering most of Greater Copenhagen. Høje Taastrup Fjernvarme's supply area comprises Taastrup and Hedehusene. Høje Taastrup Fjernvarme a.m.b.a. was established on 1 January 1992 in a merger of the consumer-owned Taastrup Varmevaerk a.m.b.a. and the municipal heat supply in Høje-Taastrup. The establishment took place in the form of a co-operative society with limited liability. The company is thus owned by the heat consumers.

The company supplies the heat through 169 km pipes to 5,260 consumers. 5,582,065 m2 are connected. In 2007, 261,821 MWh were sold. Energy is bought from the transmission company Vestegnens Kraftvarmeselskab (VEKS), which buys heat from waste plants (CHP) and central combined heat and power plants.
